Any psychological intervention starts with an initial assessment. It covers information about your mental health journey so far, the problems you are facing and what you would like to achieve in therapy.
Together we will explore any current diagnosis experiences, if it is an acute or chronic illness, symptoms, treatments, family and friendships, development, general wellbeing and any risk factors.
Together we will agree on the best therapy plan to move forward.

I offer individual counselling service which is designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals.
Talking therapy offers you a neutral confidential space where you can express yourself free from fear of being judged, shame and preconceived ideas. I tailor my therapeutic intervention to your specific needs, providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviours, and develop strategies for positive change.

As a disabled therapist, I am dedicated to using my knowledge and understanding of disability to empower people. I recognise that societal forces often undermine control and autonomy for disabled individuals, even within health and social care systems. I respect that my clients are the experts in their own lives and see my role as supporting and strengthening the skills they already possess.
To ensure therapy is accessible and meaningful, I work with clients so sessions can be adapted to any structure needed, whether it be session timing, frequency, or lower energy options.

As I work towards developing my practice, I am currently studying Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS), undertaking specialised training in anatomy, physiology, and the psychology of sexual response.
My background in sex-positive and inclusive therapy allows me to draw on both evidence-based approaches and own experiences to inform my clinical work.
As I am currently training, I am able to offer a discounted rate for clients who specifically wish to work on this area.
